No company operates in a vacuum. We are dedicated to the betterment of our society and the preservation of our planet. We commit our money, time and resources to this mission. We ‘invest’ millions of dollars and many hours annually, individually and as a company, to philanthropic, social, and environmental initiatives. Our founders, partners, and team members champion charitable endeavors targeting vital causes such as extreme poverty, emergency healthcare, urban green space development, and the housing, care and education of underprivileged children (to name only a few of many).
We believe that “giving back” or “paying it forward” is a core responsibility of success and empowerment, and is also the foundation of living fulfilled and meaningful lives. We have committed to do so as a family and as a company.
Deeply committed to charitable causes within our communities and beyond, each Infinity Collective team member contributes meaningfully, in his or her own unique way, to the organizations we are most passionate about. These include CARE for Special Needs Children, The SAFE Foundation, Mount Sinai Hospital, RWJBarnabas Health, The American Cancer Society, Waves for Water, Teach NJ, Teach NYS, Excel Network, and dozens more.
Having completed over 40 transformative redevelopment projects to historically protected “Landmark” buildings in 5 cities, we have demonstrated our commitment to preserving the history and the architectural character of the places wherein we invest. Our “Green Landmark Initiative” is aimed at modernizing the infrastructure and transforming the spatial programming of historic properties, so that they operate with the highest efficiency and smallest environmental footprint possible. All the while, rehabilitating and preserving the precious architectural elements of the historic structures. By focusing a significant portion of our business endeavors particularly on historic buildings, we have the unique opportunity of rehabilitating the most generally neglected, environmentally inefficient properties.
We are constantly improving the methods and materials we use to develop and operate our projects and businesses. We’re constantly increasing transparency of environmental practices helping to redefine business success to include the safeguarding of natural systems and thriving human communities. Since 2015, we pledged 1% of our revenues to the preservation and restoration of the natural environment by joining 1% FOR THE PLANET. Since 2021, we have independently and directly contributed toward our own environmental projects.
Sponsored projects and targeted grants have planted over 3,000 trees to-date in neighborhoods, parks, and natural areas where we live, work and play. Our renovation projects to pre existing buildings have yielded annual resource savings of 7.3 million gallons of water, 329k KWH of less consumed electricity, and over 29k therms of natural gas (the equivalent of driving cross-country 250 times). Residential communities in our portfolio feature community gardens, bicycle rooms, and 300+ acres of planned natural areas earmarked for permanent preservation.
We’re aiming to upend expectations. Our ‘Tribe-First’ philosophy, and our culture of individuality, community, and inclusivity, is dramatically changing established paradigms within the investment industry. We target investments in businesses that challenge the status quo and program our projects to make a purposeful public impact and to advance society.
